The largest surf in years in the SoCal waters......Up to 25 feet on local beaches. Prediction for today...25 to 28 feet on most west facing beaches. And believe it or not, surf is also huge in Ireland and Spain.

Meanwhile Longtime Monterey-area surfer Peter Davi, 45, drowned today in 30-foot-plus surf at Ghost Tree, (aka Pescadero Point) off Pebble Beach. I was raised up there and believe me nobody has ever seen surf this high within a hundred miles of there. Pic at left shows that there is no sandy beach off that area at all. Every jerkoff just hits rocks.
