File this under: Stupidity at the GOP According to all reports Bush will run against Dean by painting Dean "as another McGovern". Yeah? Well McGovern was elected and re-elected to both houses of Congress, was a huge war hero (33 combat missions to GWB's zero), won the Distinguished Flying Cross among other medals, served in many other administrations. McGovern ran on policies that people rejected. That was the only thing "wrong" about McGovern. Any attempt to tar somebody as "another McGovern" is going to come back and bite, big time. These guys think they can beat Dean on the cheap. They are dead wrong.
