I saw a movie on cable called "Iran, Veiled Appearances" directed by Thierry Michel. I recommend it highly. It is a lefty Belgian-French look at the student movement in Iran. They do a bang up job. I was surprised at the number of young people involved in the movement. The movie shows lots. What it doesn't show are the Mafia, cops, and business interests, the phony charities raking in the funds, and the jailing of anyone standing in their way. It features a bunch of "liberated women" doing next to nothing, and not too many men willing to talk. In spite of this the movie is still good. However, like most Left assholes, the movie is followed by a "commentary" by all the feel good Lefties who urge people not to do anything about it. A pretty powerful piece. It was shown on The Sundance Channel here in SoCal over Adelphia Cable. Their schedule is here This movie will be shown again Tuesday 12/23 at 11:30AM ET. Check it out and tape it.
