Air America schadenfreude and all us right wing fascist freaks are happy at their failure. They stiffed their stations with more than a million dollars in bad checks. What seems to be the problem is that they tried to buy the airtime first before selling any time to sponsors, a typical welfare state approach. Remember, their big funding came from Hollywood where NOBODY risks anything. They always look for some sucker to fund whatever they do. They all take money in front and let the investor sweat it out. Markets are foreign territory. I still think this could have worked IF they let the dam thing grow from small to big, which means all that Hollywood shit Left would have to work for minimum wage til they actually achieved something, like actually having an audience. NPR has all the totally Left Wing people sewed up and I don't know where they can "grow" an audience. Bad checks IS sort of a liberal way to do it. Smoking Gun has all the goodies including an Air America effort to sue the people who they stiffed with bad checks totaling over a million dollars. I just love Liberals.
