Re; Bush passing the buck to Rumsfeld ain't valid. This could go all the way up to Powell (Linked by Drudge if not read already). If you were the prez and just found out about things on TV that you should have known about at least 30 days prior wouldn't you be pissed? What Bush is saying is that Rumsfeld deliberately kept him in the dark about one of the most incendiary incidents in the war. Put with the other blunders about Iraq, it may be that this was the last straw. Keep in mind that EVERY general in Iraq knew what was going on. Then the Chief of Staff did a Sergent Schultz imitation ("I know nussing") on TV claiming he hadn't YET seen the report. If I was Bush I'd be ballistic. This is insubordination, or perhaps worse.
