Terrorism in Iraq is widespread targeting anyone who assists the U.S. by killing them inside their own homes. In addition, the Italians were routed from a stronghold (Italians are the worst soldiers in the world, worse than the French) as were the Portuguese. These kinds of troops were always the soft underbelly of NATO; gutless, ill trained, badly led, and not really ready to do anything. In fact NATO was never more than the U.S. and Turkey.
