Weekend sports commentary....SPORTS CRIMINALS IN PERSPECTIVE

Rush Limbaugh among others, is on a rampage against the NBA choosing to call it the TBA (Thug Basketball Association) and pointing to the loose fitting gang uniforms of the players and the rap music being piped in to all arenas as being an endorsement of criminal behavior. Well folks, there is startling new arrest data.........

Of the approximately 305 active players in the NBA, none were arrested over the Holiday. This shocking statistic was in spite of the hip hop music being played before each and every NBA game, the gangbanger costumes being worn by players, and among the 150,000 or so fans watching the games were the hundreds of drug dealers, convicted felons, deadbeat dads, and prostitutes (some retired and married to NBA owners) none of whom threw stuff at the players.

Of the nearly 18,000 doctors in the Los Angeles County area, more than 15 were arrested for crimes including murder during the same period. Surveys indicate that no rap music was piped into either waiting rooms or surgical suites, doctors were wearing loose fitting green gang attire, and although some of the doctors are pharmaceutical drug dealers it could not be ascertained if any drug dealers were patients. This number does not include the doctors and nurses not arrested when ten or so patients died at Martin Luther King Hospital due to neglect. The lack of prosecution may have something to do with the fact that all doctors, nurses and dead patients are–or were before their demise-- Black.

No NHL Hockey players were arrested because there are no NHL Hockey players at this time. That may be due to the fact that there is no NHL at this time either.

No NFL players were arrested although it is rumored that there were a number of out of court settlements, on the field muggings, and two attempted homosexual rapes during goal line stand pileups.

Out of the roughly 1,000 players in Major League Baseball one player kept the faith by assaulting a judge while at the beach.

In Southern California alone, several nurses have been indicted, and in one case convicted, for mass murders of patients. None were in gang attire or listened to rap music while performing their deeds. Due to the shortage of qualified nurses, all are back on the job.

Three strippers out of the 75,000 employed in various clubs were arrested, one for murder. Rap music was played in the clubs where they worked but none have worn gang attire, or any attire for that matter, while doing their criminal deeds.

Because of the Holidays no stock brokers have been arrested and none will be til after the first of the year but it is well known that many listen to rap music via their I-Pods as they tout worthless stock to customers while at work. Suits worth more than 5K are considered gang attire in Beverly Hills.
