EITHER BUSH CAVES TO VOINOVICH OR BOLTON SLEEPS WITH THE FISHES

Doing an Ask Jeeves on Voinovich yields this "abuse of power" from 1996; then we have this one about Voinovich missing the Torricelli hearings

Members of the six-Senator panel - Inouye, Roberts, Jack Reed (D-R.I.), Craig Thomas (R-Wyo.), Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) and George Voinovich (R-Ohio) - are not expected to be on hand today.

But the real reason for the Voinovich challenge to the Bush administration is the usual: local pork for Ohio. NASA is cutting back but there is no way they are going to cut back one dime in Ohio if Voinovich has anything to say about it. So it's this way: either the White House caves to Ohio demands or Bolton sleeps wit' duh fishes.
