OUT OF STATE MONEY TRYING TO INFLUENCE ELECTION

Once again, big union money pours into a state election. To those of you not smart enough to live in California, here's the current picture on Arnold's "reform" of the state. We are being inundated---flooded, drowned by, battered with---a string of anti-Arnold reform media commercials. This campaign is paid for by the Government Employees Labor Union. There are huge dollars involved here, a hell of a lot of it from out of state hoping that reforms will not "spread east" and spoil their cushy rackets in places like Michigan. Since everyone has to identify themselves when they run a commercial we all know the source is the people who want to continue sacking the state. Schwarzenegger wants to amend the state constitution to change the way Sacramento manages money, pays public school teachers, draws political districts and provides for the retirement of its workers. But opponents -- from labor unions to education advocates -- are vowing to partner with their California affiliates and defeat what many Democrats call a "Republican, Bush-Schwarzenegger" agenda.

This expensive campaign is aimed at killing any education reform in the state AND to continue the open border with Mexico because unions see illegals as future members of their dying union movement. Stay tuned.
