The Kerkorian bid for GM is a potential death knell for the company, its workers, and all dealers and suppliers. This guy only buys companies to sack them of profitible parts while letting the rest of a company just hang. What he wants are the only two segments of GM that are in the black. They are GM's profitable mortgage and insurance business. These two entities are all that is keeping the the debt ridden company afloat.
