Q: Are "pop under" ads making your life exactly like pop ups used to? Right now I have six of the fucking things I have to get rid of. Any solutions?

Howie,

(a) Are you getting popunders when you use Mozilla, or when using I.E.?

(b) If I.E., are you using the I.E. popup blocker that comes with Service Pack 2?

(c) Are you using an anti-spyware program as well as an anti-virus program? If not, I suggest trying MSFT's free, beta version anti-spyware program. I'm using it instead of SpyBot, which I use to use.

(d) Also check to see if you have any suspicious mystery applications installed. You may be infected with a spy program that's downloading things.

Does this get rid of all the popunders? No, sorreee, I stil get a few.

All of the above. Now using Firefox with as few extensions as is practical. And I've scoured my hard drive for things. Oh well

I run Avant browser, with Atguard, an old program you can't get anymore, along with WinPatrol. WinPatrol is very useful. I have NO PROBLEMS. Of course, I'm not compusivly surfing all the skank porn sites 24/7. Nope. Not me.
