Whiskey River has the Newsweek scandal best:
"Every object has two aspects,
the common aspect,
which is the one we generally see
and the one which is seen by everyone,
and
the ghostly and metaphysical aspect,
which only rare individuals see
at moments of clairvoyance
and metaphysical meditation."

Me thinks Newsweek saw the ghostly and metaphysical aspect. And aren't all Liberals clairvoyant? No?
Simon hits the Newsweek blood on their hands story pretty good. This is the same story as Rathergate with the same circle the wagons mentality by an insulated liberal elite who can't believe that what the did was wrong. "Jesus, it was the Republicans who we were after. You'da thunk we went after Liberals."
