S&P at four year high. Now the old high was 1527 but there is something called the cash value S&P500 which is the value of cash on hand, as well as short-term investments that a company classifies as a current asset. The cash value is at a record high surpassing the '88 high, which if you'll remember was the kickoff of the huge boom that lasted til 2001. When companies have this much cash many will buy back their own stock thus driving the market higher. This market looks awfully strong. Oil prices are the only major negative out there.
