Hitchins has the correct take on the purchase of Iraqi reporters. This actually could be worse than any of us realized. Take a peek at Slate, if you haven't already. The only thing I'd add is that not planting our own stories means that the NYT, LAT, and the rest of the anti-American pricks in the MSM will plant stories.
