$1.75 PER GALLON GASOLINE: IT'S EASY IF THE GOVERNMENT HAD THE GUTS
A step by step program that will attain this goal
We, the USA, consume about 20 million barrels of oil each day. If you look at the statistics you find that a barrel of oil will yield something like 19 or 20 gallons of gasoline, depending on the refinery. Therefore the United States consumes something like 400 million gallons of gasoline every day. Taking this out to a year, the U.S. consumes about 146 billion gallons of gasoline per! And per financial quarter we burn up 35 billion gallons of gasoline per. The quarterly profits for the four biggest oil companies are around 20 billion. Suppose we take back a penny on every gallon pumped, that sounds good. That comes to what? A skadillion dollars? Thirty five billion dollars? Oh oh, that only comes out to....shit, fuck....that’s only a paltry 14.6 million dollars. Fuck them, let’s get back fifty cents a gallon and make the pump price $2.50 per gallon......let’s see fifty cents times thirty five billion is 17 billion dollars give or take a little bit. That would mean their combined profits would be reduced to $3 billion. Fuck them. I want $1.75 gasoline and now you’re telling me that taking back a dollar twenty five for every gallon they screw us out of would mean the oil companies would lose money? Those pricks would lose? Good. Let’s fucking take it. I could give a shit. YOU could give a shit.
So what would you do if you were a corporate CEO who just robbed of fifteen billion dollars? Oh, maybe stop selling gasoline to the stations and stop buying crude? 1970s gas lines come back---and all of us loved them---and limits of 10 gallons every two days is imposed. That will teach the pieces of shit companies.
The only alternative after that would be to nationalize the oil companies like they do in progressive countries like Russia and China. Demand the government sell gasoline to us for $1.75 per gallon or we’ll kick them out of office.
Solved
Can’t wait. We'll see who's in charge.
