NEXT, SHOW THE AMERICAN FLAG AND BE DEPORTED?

Economy: for the first time in weeks the yield curve is normal--short term rates are lower than long term rates. Bravo, it was getting scary there. Dynamic chart is HERE --- will not work with anything other than MSIE

Noonan has a thought provoking essay today, part of which indicates that most generals opposed the Iraq war. The question is, were they afraid to come forward. She a right winger and is currently reading a book called Cobra II that is scaring the shit out of her.

Has Moonves pulled a coup on NBC by getting Couric to leave the ratings rich Today Show and go onto an evening TV News sector that is losing viewers? The Byzantine reasoning goes that Evil Genius Moonves pulled this off so CBS can have a shot at that huge AM audience that Couric has had in her lap for ten years.

For those of you who only go to Slate to read Mickey Kaus, you owe it to yourselves to go HERE and read the piece about the FBI, an agency so backward that at least twenty percent of the agents don't have email; an untold number can't operate a computer; and their systems are so old they go back to the time of DOS and 386; etc.

Illegals to vote in NYC. apparently no citizenship qualifications in city elections. Next, anyone caught flying the American flag will be deported.

The yield curve chart works fine in Firefox on FreeBSD.

They're careerists. They want to play to safe.

Retired gen. Tommy Franks may be planning to run for Prez. Maybe he'll come out of the closet about this stuff when the time comes.
