Why America thinks that there ain't no fucking war...
If terrorists were actually going into super markets, schools, or hospitals and blowing themselves up we would know there is a war on. What we actually have is a war against our interests overseas (oil wells, ships in ports, embassies and so on). They cannot attack here only because there is no hiding place in our country for them, no place to lurk while building bombs, no large organizations that will hide them.
Islam cannot go to war against us because they have no friends here. In all societies where they are active the religion has been entrenched for decades. Even Britain has places for them to hide.
Until some professors at Princeton, students at an Ivy college, or children in hospitals are killed nobody here will regard 9/11 as anything more than a fluke attack. No follow up means no war.
Meanwhile, in a major event, the Catholic Church has awakened after turning the other cheek for fifty years of priest killing, nun raping, Muslim thuggery. The new pope faces reality.
