Capitalism Ain't all That Efficient: He has a career on-base-percentage of about .325, had the fourth most strikeouts in the National League in 2006, he made the second most errors of any outfielder in the National League---so what do you do with a guy like that? Why a team with the worst defense in the National League signs him for $136 million. The Cubs hope that their terrible pitching, porus defense, and lowest double play count will somehow turn it all around with the signing of offensive poobah, center fielder Alfonso Soriano.....we'll see.
