Challenged once by a top ten team they got smoked. UCLA had a gutless coach afraid of losing calling the worst plays in history, or Notre Dame would have lost that one too. The topper: USC cheerleaders cutest in USA; 48-0 over NDs flat chested Catholics.

Arkansas vs LSU: a team on the downturn vs a team on a roll. Arkansas is a much improved juggernaut that would be favored over USC if they played right now. USC won the season opener, scoring 50 points in the process. They'd be lucky to score 14 now.

Texas vs Texas A&M: A&M only because A&M coach Franchione will lose his job if he loses. Franchione stabbed Alabama in the back and snuck out of Alabama after rebuilding their program. He hasn't done jack shit at A&M. Late Add: if you saw the game you saw A&M deliberately cheap shot the Texas QB twice, knocking him out of the game after the second one. This is happening in more and more NCAA games but the NCAA brass sits on their asses counting the money these kids earn for them. Fuck the kids.
