GANGS R US

I was just responding to LaShawn Barber's piece on gangs yesterday, which included my post to her. I gave her some references should she want to get into the subject and mentioned this National Geographic Special which re-runs from time to time. SEE IT or download it or something; the text of the show is on the National Geographic sits. Really scary, really good, and you will never figure out how they let this girl inside the gang to do a story about the most violent criminal enterprise in the world. And they let her in with TV cameras and stuff. WOW BTW, for those interested in the subject Heather MacDonald is the encyclopedia of street gangs.
