MOVIE BIZ MOVES FURTHER FROM THE MAIN STREAM

If you need More proof that the movie business, meaning the entire sorry industry, is completely out of touch and on an island of their own creation, see how the NCAA and CBS are dealing with YouTube over March Madness

A division of CBS is hoping to intensify the mania by offering students and other fans a chance to create exuberant, exhortatory video clips and share them with friends, family and strangers--and use them, not incidentally, to taunt anyone who roots for opposing teams.
CBS at least gets it that YouTube exposure can enhance ratings and not kill them. Contrast this with the morons over at Oscarville who ordered YouTube to pull any and all Oscar clips from their site because, and only because, "The Academy" is offering a five minute excerpt WITH COMMERCIALS and they only want us mooches to watch their little clip.

Jesus, sell the stock.
