The "Never use ten words when you can use a thousand," Camille Paglia, is back at Salon where she once again roams all over the universe without the writing skills of a William Faulkner---she uses periods and commas---but she's still sort of entertaining. BTW I think she wrote her fawning piece about Edwards before he hired the crazies.

Atheism, a belief in Nothingness that Paglia postulates is true, is different for me. I firmly believe that Man created God, not the reverse; in other words there ain't one (God, not man---but we're close on the second count). HOWEVER, I passionately believe that you have an obligation to practice your belief, and in public without ridicule. AND I don't consider you a threat; to me, the Republic, or the world in general. I do note that there ain't no Atheist tents at disaster sites, only Christian ones, making God as visible as He will ever get.
