OH, THAT BONO

At a U2 concert in Dublin, Bono asked the audience for some quiet.

Then in the silence, he starts to slowly clap his hands.

Holding the audience in total silence, he says into the microphone:

"Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies."

After a few more hand-claps, a voice from the crowd pierces the silence:

"Fookin stop doing it then!"

And every time you blink your eyes, a child is born in Africa.

I remember years ago at a free concert in S.F., Bono climbed up on an outdoor sculpture and spray painted some graffiti on it. When someone in the media asked him about defacing someone else's art, He said that since he was an artist it was ok for him to reinterpret it....!
