The reason the pulled it is the LBGT folks bitched about it. They said it promoted violence due to somewhere in the ad the guys apparently hit each other or something. I dont know since the kids and dog got sick after seeing it and we changed the channel afterward and quit watching after that.
This IS just a TV commercial we are talking about right? I saw it, I snorted, and promptly forgot about it.
I wasn't tempted to kiss a guy on the mouth, or tear the hair off my chest - OR even eat a Snickers bar after seeing it.
The ad deserved to be pulled because it was a lousy ad. I knew there would be complaints, but that is what we are now - a nation of whiners. WE ARE PATHETIC BEDWETTERS TO CRY FOUL AT INSIGNIFICANT CRAP SUCH AS THIS WHEN WE ARE AT WAR.
Now the Snickers song commercial? Can't get that damned jingle out of my head! That's how you sell candy bars.
It IS a TV commercial that is trying to sell product, true. But it also attempts to brand homosexual behavior as normal. I just find an image of two men kissing each other is filth. Period.
