SCRATCHES ON A REST ROOM WALL

Here come da floods: very warm weather is headed back to the snow belt. Places with 20 feet of snow are going to see snow melt. End of the week start. Heating oil prices, up for the past few days, will head down and pull crude with it.

Daytona 500: I am not a race fan, mainly because we used to go to the old dirt track races almost every weekend and when I moved from my small town life I distanced myself from the "sport." My crackup this week was all those snooty liberal sports reporters from ESPN etc., people who hate the "red neck" fan base of NASCAR trying to interview those for whom they have contempt, and looking like the race ignorant fools that they are.

The cluelessness of this entire administration when it comes to communicating, is on full display over at Malkin, where the army responds to the bogus charge in the Washington Post, one which stated that the Army was short "thousands of Humvee upgrades." How did the Army respond? You guessed it. They didn't answer the question directly and in a simple manner, instead they launched an incredibly long and verbose group of replies. Insane. What moron is running things? Oh, I remember....
Jesus, the reply should have just stated the bare facts. Period. These kinds of circuitous responses merely act to convince people that the Army is lying. BTW, Michelle. Those stupid combat videos with Johnny Cash soundtracks? Jesus, what next? Military funerals with rap lyrics? There's a dam good reason that MSM won't play that dopey trash: they stink.
