Sign of the times....our local communist rag, LA Weekly, is going high end. Gone are the personals, banished to a special web site (really hung stud seeks anal friend for chess and drug buys); the ads for apartments show rents starting at $1100 plus; some of the ten thousand word articles are balanced (that faggot, George Bush, is not as bad a War Criminal as Hitler was), and lots of Travel ads. High end communists.

After watching four basketball games that ended in the last few seconds I confess that they succeeded in boring me. The last two minutes of every game takes twenty minutes due to persistent "game management" time outs called by coaches......I suggest that all fouls during the last two minutes be three shot fouls; that each team foul in excess of two result in possession by the team that was fouled; that each team be limited to one time out; and all soccer style "flops" be a three shot technical foul.

I predict that the "Group of 88" and their friends at Duke will be the ones launching law suits. They are not apologetic regarding their attempted "lynching" of the accused students. On the contrary, they have an agenda that includes an attack on white privilege, the castration of the athletic department so that only a Harvard style program can exist there, the Duke "women?" hate all men, especially the ones with muscles, so all sports are as seen as bastions of white privilege; and the coup dee grass will be the imposition of a code of conduct that will mean expulsion for any student challenging a teacher.

I am noting that the television offerings of all "Times" channels (History, Discovery, etc.) are doing shows that trash the Thermopolye Soldiers of Sparta as depicted in the movie, 300, in every way possible. It's made clear that Leonidas was worse than George Bush, and the Spartans represented a fascist state. Leonidas is depicted as a guy who was going to go on trial back in Sparta for leaving the city defenseless; his motivation for the "stand" was nothing but image burnishing. Liberals hate this movie. Which can only mean----I'm going to see it again. This time in IMAX.

The New Congressional Majority looks twice as bad as the old one. And they steal more too. Not surprising when you realize that the Democrats invented slime.
