Saturday Sports:
The NBA has stumbled and bumbled its way into a (finally) interesting playoffs. After the NBA commissioner, in one of the most rigid displays of authority ever, did his very best to destroy the playoffs, LeBron James and his sixty one point game winning performance makes the rest of the Cavs games a must watch.
Don't ever underestimate the ability of the Boston Red Sox to lose, no matter how far ahead in both standings and games they may be. Nobody is worse, and it will take at least two more seasons of great ball to erase this opinion.
Martial Arts, who they? I'll tell you who they. There is a martial arts championship this evening at the LA Coliseum and as of last nite 50,000 tickets were sold. One of the young guys in the office bought a pair for $500, and this was from a manager of one of the fighters. Tastes they are a changin'. In LA at least, the absence of the NFL is helping all other sports. And insane ticket prices are helping them everywhere as people go to what is available to them.
NHL playoffs are the best ever and only the people in LA and Ottowa give a shit. It's too bad.
