College football; week one

Have we seen a new era dawn? CAL is an Olympic track team dressed in shoulder pads; the fastest team ever assembled. USC, by comparison, looks like an overweight behemoth that will never beat them. Having said that, the "smart" money says the backs are too light and will be sidelined before the end of the season. But West Virginia looks as fast and there may be a few more out there. If you didn't see either of the above two games, let me assure you that you ain't never seen anything like it. Now if only CAL could tackle.

Michigan lost and who cares? The Big Ten is almost a Division IAA conference with only Wisconsin a potential top ten team. We may have seen the dawn of a new era with super fast kids who can play football. Keep a spot on your TV for the next CAL game. BTW highly touted Oregon has a quarterback from hell so you can scratch them. Same can be said for Texas. But CAL? Jesus Christ.
