The Propaganda Ministry now controls content at Disney

Just as it now controls all Hollywood content. Libertas has a long post about how Disney has not only re-cut Path to 9/11 but is refusing to release it on DVD in any version other than the version that Disney has re-edited without the permission of the creator, a version that will satisfy the Hollywood candidate, Hillary Clinton.

There was a point last year when a lot of us were concerned about what Disney/ABC was editing out of Path to 9/11 in order to protect the reputations of the Clintons. We wondered if Disney/ABC would bow to censorship pressures from the Democratic Party, in a kind of cinematic equivalent of Sandy Berger stuffing a few inconvenient documents down his pants to protect the Clintons.

How quaint that concern now seems.

Cyrus Nowrasteh, writer-producer of ABC’s The Path to 9/11, discusses today the complete suppression of his film (see the Wall Street Journal, subscriber side) - today being, of course, the sixth anniversary of the attack itself. Essentially, Disney/ABC no longer wants you to see any of that film - even though it was watched by 28 million viewers and was just nominated for seven Emmies.

My take on this revolves around my education, one that was formed in the old Liberal tradition of freedom of expression uber alles, First Amendment is sacrosanct, and the now quaint "I may disagree with what you say but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." The Hollywood artistic community, hereinafter referred to as The Propaganda Ministry, has shown its bias and cowardice for all to see ever since their silence regarding the Theo van Gogh revenge for speaking murder in Holland. The entire industry should be forced to register as an agent of a foreign power. There is a revolution brewing at SAG where an uneducated former criminal may actually win the presidency, but the revolution is about more money, not more integrity.
