In other football observations: USC showed what might have been had their offensive line not been hurt for six games and not present, and if two first string linebackers hadn't been sidelined for two and three weeks respectively and remained healthy. USC totally crushed "undefeated" Arizona State. ASU was beaten up so badly that I'd now bet they cannot possibly be pain free enough to win their final game against Arizona. It's been a long time since I've seen a quarterback take a beating like the one that was handed out to a bleeding and limping Rudy Carpenter last night. This USC team will be in a major bowl and I doubt that anyone will want to play them if USC remains at full strength.

Dallas Cowboys are looking better and better with every game and to me they look like they are capable of challenging New England.
