I got so much email about the card trick posted on 1/8 below I added this one, considered the most difficult and best card trick in magic. Invented by John Scarne, this is the one he used when he toured Army bases during WWII to show the GIs that no matter how smart they thought they were they couldn't spot a cheat.


Late Add: I am reminded that Scarne was never observed doing the "Flying Aces" trick. He was a self promoter who said he had done it. There is nothing written anywhere that exactly describes how to do it, so most agree that the actual trick as he stated was never done. Some interesting docs are HERE, but loaded with magicians lingo so it's hard to understand.
