Mr. Articulate Strikes Again Almost anyone following the progress of the Iraq War knows it is going well and has been going well for at least six months. So what does our peerless mush mouth leader say? Why nothing, of course. So what is the result?

Three in five (61%) Americans think the war on terrorism, normally one of President Bush’s strongest issues, is going poorly with just one-third (35%) saying it is going well. The war in Iraq fares even worse, as two-thirds (66%) say that is going poorly.
I cannot recollect a president with worse communication skills, nor does history show anyone worse. So he snatches defeat from the jaws of success once again. Jesus, what a dunce.

I don't think there's anything he can say to change people's minds. With the entire media aparatus arrayed against him it's just impossible.

Its not just his communication skills - it is the speeches themselves as well.
He could read those facts off a teleprompter just as easily as the fact he is giving another $30 billion to Africa - but only if the facts are in the speech.
It seems that his whole communication department is either clueless, staffed with Clinton holdovers or both.
