Like a monster bank that cannot be allowed to go bankrupt, Hillary is spread nation wide with perhaps a hundred mil in play. There are staff (probably in the thousands), tons of advertising stuff already in the pipeline, and many party bosses to please. She can lose and lose and lose, but she is the political Energizer Bunny, always running, and in true existential fashion, she is doomed beat her drum forever.

Lost in all this is the repudiation of the Race Pimps. Neither Jackson nor Sharpton will be taken seriously ever again. Neither of them can campaign for Obama because their divisivenesses is so profound that they can actually wreck Obama's campaign. And don't forget, there is a portion of the Black electorate that doesn't know how to vote for any office unless the candidate guarantees a bunch of entitlements. This was an historic night, make no mistake, and a good one. A Big Funeral for the race pimps is in store.....but I'm afraid that is another dream.

Diarrhea of the Mouth: a condition affecting most politicians, was evident as a disease affecting Obama during a long winded victory speech. Now comes a real election. New Hampshire ain't Iowa. Sooner or later he will have to talk about issues.....or will he? Hillary has been successful by avoiding issues for the past six years.

The unions big losers: They did their usual phone bank stuff for Hillary but it failed. A union endorsement means nothing.

The Iowa Crockus: Watching TV I note the talking heads interviewing people going into various caucus sites. I am most struck by the self importance of a bunch of smug (mostly) Democratic jerks acting like Kings. All of them just had to pretend to know something. This is one lousy way to conduct anything. These narcissists are not people I'd want to court. Yuk.
