The Olympic Shames via NBC

Two Hollywood whores, Mia Farrow and Steven Spielberg have finally said "bad boy" to China over their subsidization of the genocide in Darfur through supporting the brutal government in the Sudan just so Sudan will give them access to some oil. Trillionaire Spielberg bravely protests by bowing out of his personal involvement with the games and Farrow pisses and moans by sending a public letter (after making sure the cameras were rolling) and slipping her protest under the embassy door. To be totally fair, the unemployed former actress has been active for years in this cause. Spielberg and Farrow actually protest? They are the usual Hollywood political dilettantes acting only when it is “safe” for them to do so.

Worse than Hollywood? How about our self centered and completely narcissistic athletes? How about that fucking NBC paying the Chinese a hundred million or so for the rights (wrongs) to televise the games? How about the sponsors of the Games? All of us should act and let both China and NBC know that we ain’t buying what they’re selling.

But we won't. As long as we get bread and circuses we'll just sell out and sleep.
