Oscar Show Re-ducks

The initial ratings were actually high and only low by past performance. It's what's inside the ratings, stupid, and when you look at the components you see how far Hollywood has fallen.
1. Lowest rated ever; total viewers 32 million (still high) but lowest rated EVER.
2. 32 million dropped all night down to 25 million for last hour.
3. And most viewers who tuned in stayed with the show for only six minutes.
4. Worst news concerns the 18-40 age group, the most desirable demographic. This most coveted group because they are most likely to go out and see a movie, had the fewest viewers ever. It's #3 that's most telling. How many of the 90mil plus viewers for the Super Bowl turned it off? How many turn off the Masters before it's over? In fact how many people turn off American Idol or their favorite TV show before it's over?

Capitalism ain't alive in Hollywood.
