I suppose this dates me, but tonight I watched one of the best TV Shows ever produced, Frank Sinatra, a Man and his Music Part II, it was just a TV show from 1966 but what a show. There is a book out there called Why Sinatra Matters that is supposed to be some kind of definitive work, but really folks, his singing is what mattered. Part III will be on TCM next Sunday on TCM. Catch it if you can. He did not define an era, he was an era...... No, he was the era.
