Short Verizon.....I've had their cell service for two years. Two days ago I couldn't call out. I filed a report (the worst customer service around) and they finally got back to me. "We don't serve your area." I live in a high end to medium high end part of town, I've had service with no problem for years, but no matter....I couldn't make calls from super high income Malibu either.
They are losing customers and don't seem to give a fat fuck......

Press *228 on your phone then "send", when you get a menu press 2 (update). that's what we do here in Jersey to teach our phone all the new towers and contact points. I've had Veriz tell me to do it because my kids and wife's phones were aging and never updated.
In NJ the call to *228 is free.
Still says "service not available" Their customer service is downright rude.
Thanx anyway
Had another supplier port our numbers from Verizon two months before our 2 year $80/mo. deal was up. THEY (Verizon) unilaterally CANCELLED our two party countract and billed us $400 in "early cancellation fees".
WE called Bravo Sierra and will pay them the minimum monthly charge for the next two months and bid them a fond adieu.
I wonder how many other of their customers are in the same basket? Would seem to be a ripe opportunity for a class action.
Short them, indeed.
Couple of new points, just to be fair (I hate doing that): They have put up two apartment buildings on my street that comply with NEW building codes allowing buildings of six stories instead of four. This means I'm now in a hole with no chance of a tower signal getting to my house. Verizon says on their website that my area has great reception??? So I have no cell reception in my house no matter what.
Re; their price. At the very moment I was going to sign with another company offering same service for $80 less, Verizon called and offered me the same deal.
I don't think they have a fixed price for their service.
