I've read the following little goodie at work and it's also on the web but I forget where. Consider the following: with your rebate of $300 to $600 your money will go to various places. If you buy a computer the money goes to India, if you buy fresh produce the money will go to Mexico or Latin America, If you buy a car with it it goes to either Germany, Korea, or Mexico; If you buy stuff at Wal Mart the money goes to China, gasoline goes to the Saudis or Chavez, clothing will go to some Third World shithole that uses child labor paid at about $1 per hour. If we buy useless crap it will go to Taiwan. None of the rebate stays here
