The excitement of the crowds and the jubilation of the players after each good shot made for a great day of balls out competition. We are all sick of seeing these robots nod and tip a hat after a round or a great hole as if it might cost them everything if they showed how they feel. There is nothing quite like Ryder Cup and if you missed it you missed something. Better than NFL? Yes, because great games happen after three quarters of slugging it out.
