U.S. Open: watching the women's quarterfinal match. The two playing in the QUARTERFINAL absolutely stink. No serves, no backhands, no forehands, combined with no net play ain't much fun to watch. Retirement, stabbing, having a kid, and so on have stripped the women's draw down to nothing but the Williams Sisters. If something isn't done to improve women's tennis there will be nobody around to watch them play. Net should be lowered by at least three inches and the court narrowed by a foot. Otherwise there will be a continuing parade of weak slow women trying to play what is actually a man's game. Too many love sets proving that they also give up and just lie down when too far behind.
