The best that can be said for the market today is that it is mildly encouraging. If only the above chart was a daily, but it isn't. It's a fifteen minute chart, BUT it does show that the market MAY be building a base. We need several days of the kind of action toward the close so that one of the smartest guys in the room goes long and the rest of the sharpies go with him. We are very close to a once in a lifetime buying opportunity, but timing is everything. This is the third buying opportunity of a lifetime this week. Watch your ass. BTW we are about at the point where the Marty Zweig "fade the media" strategy should obtain. There are no positive reports or pictures out there. This usually is taken to mean that everyone who can sell has already sold, so ???? This is a very good indicator.
