Really Important, I mean Really Really

Just happened to catch part of a local political talk show (while the Angels were dying) with the usual small time locals, but what they were saying is really what is wrong for the country. The talk was about the "Rescue" plan and all save one was against it, but not because of anything actually in the Bill. They announced that they didn't care how many people got laid off when Lehman closed, nor about any employees at Bear or Merrill ("Oh, boo hoo"), what they wanted was a handout for their local pet projects or they were against it. And they were loud. The reasons for the letters to Congressional Reps are not that the Bill is bad, but because there ain't no goodies for them personally.
