In a nutshell that is the Obama's supposed rescue for GM, Ford, and Chrysler. The production costs built into the union contract remain so GM, ford, and Chrysler have to sell cars at the same cost disadvantage. We, the public, are fucked. All this bill will do AT FIRST, is pay the deficit in current Big Three contributions to VEBA.
