Retail Notes: went to WalMart yesterday to buy some stuff. At 11AM on a Wednesday morning their huge parking lot was packed, people heading to their cars loaded down with goods, and when I arrived there were cars backed into the street waiting to get in. And inside? Christmas music tastefully playing in the background and as usual with the chain, they had everything.
