While it's stupid to draw conclusions about the Obama Administration, it's beginning to look like he has major problems making decisions. Now that Soros is on board one has to wonder about puppet master and puppet. It seems to me that he is delaying appointments so he can blame Bush more and more.

Wither GM? A bailout is a subsidy for UAW workers not a help for the company that must find a way to compete or go out of business. A little tid bit I picked up from somewhere yesterday concerning Big Three's continuing to make gas guzzlers over the past twenty years or so. The union work rules, retiree payouts, and medical coverage made it impossible for GM to make money on anything other than the SUVs, a product that produced an $18,000 profit on each car. Now that nobody wants them the Big Three are doomed. Now what comes to the fore for me is radical, something I know stinks worse than anything I've thought of lately (other than the electric fork), but it's not only GM and Ford we are talking about, consider the hundreds of suppliers to GM going under without the huge corporation paying them for goods and services; consider the loss of a tax base in both Michigan and to a lesser extent the Feds; and be aware of the eradication of the work force and it's consumer power it becomes real clear that the union benefits must be cut out. The only way I can see to do it would be to literally take over both the medical and retiree benefits which in no way can be maintained; they are already over. This stinks, but what doesn't?
