Football
The bowls: mostly boring with teams nobody cares about. Exception was the really exciting Alabama-Utah game (who'd a thunk it?) and the Oregon Oklahoma State game. Rose was a yawner, and the rest weren't worth watching. We still have the BCS and maybe he remaining bowls will furnish some excitement, but I'm betting the ratings will tank as the public becomes aware that the NCAA is guilty of "Restraint of Trade" by engaging in a deliberate policy of freezing everyone out. Some are calling it a cartel. Not true. A real cartel has at least a little competition and all of them eventually collapse. A monopoly is different and only government (Teddy Roosevelt) can knock them down. It's all about money, big surprise.
