Big Dance Bullshit

Because the PAC 10 doesn't televise their games over ESPN but uses FOX because FOX will televise all games into their local markets, ESPN is punishing the PAC 10 by leaving all teams off their "bracketology." I am of the opinion the the Big East is simply not nearly as good as ESPN hype artists would have everyone believe. I think not more than two of them, UCONN (if Dyson can play), Louisville and perhaps (and only perhaps) Pitt making it to the elite 8. ACC powerhouse North Carolina won't make shit unless point guard Ty Lawson can play. The hype around UCLA is just lazy east coast reporters not bothering to see any games; they are in the high mediocre level. Same with Gonzaga which might not even be mediocre---slow and not hot shooters either unless they have nobody guarding them. This leaves Washington which could win it all if their players actually play, something they've only done once or twice all season but they actually have a good big man. Then there is USC (what? USC plays basketball?) which is a team with the best starting six in the west and maybe the country. It's the SIX that will spell their downfall because when all is said and done a championship team needs a deep bench. So who do I like? Well, I don't love anybody other than Carolina with Lawson and CAL if God plays power forward for them, something God says he'll never do for the Commie cocksuckers.

I honestly think that picking the Elite 8 is an impossible task since so many teams are good enough to get there. Surprises: Duke because coach K will have them ready and they won't beat themselves; USC if they don't all fall from exhaustion before game two; and Oklahoma with maybe the best player east of Japan able to dominate games.
