GM is at $1.83 making it a penny stock. When I was in college (save the dinosaur jokes) I wrote a paper about the car business wherein I concluded (in writing) that the best thing for us to do was declare GM the winner, break up the company into its various models and start over. No GM, just Cadillac, Pontiac, Chevvy, and so on. I think I wrote this at the same time Nissan just started selling cars here. The mechanics referred to them as egg beaters, honey pots, and Harbor Bombers. I got a B on my paper from my Commie professor so with perfect hind sight I'm saying now that I should have gotten an F or credited for being prescient and got an A.
