No, Not St. Nixon

The most accurate source of information on dam near everything is Stratfor--Global Intelligence, a carefully researched information site that costs some buks to access. Much of the time the things posted there are of limited interest so I confess that I only check it out once or twice per month and because of my laziness I completely missed this piece on Nixon (who I could care less about) and the CIA's constant attack on him, their deliberate leaks to media in a smear campaign against him, together with their (and especially the FBI's) successful political assassination of him. The piece, called The Death of Deep Throat and the Crises in Journalism, will open your eyes to the destruction of an admittedly unsympathetic character by an out of control and totally corrupt CIA-FBI. Should you doubt the near total corruption of our government, just read this piece which will show you how the FBI ran the entire Watergate investigation and the role the Washington Post played in the destruction of a president they did not like. While we now see the corruption of the entire regulatory structure of our financial "system" and the criminal pressure put on the BofA by Paulson-Bernanke (and not Geithner) this piece will open your eyes to the extent of our problem. When the death of the Republic is writ we will find that we destroyed ourselves with nary a push from foreign powers.
