The Return of the REALLY LONG Pass

All of a sudden we see qbs who could always hit a moving snake in the eye at 75yards, suddenly hitting barely open receivers at 60 yards---IN A REAL GAME.  How come?  Have the coaches loosened up and put the long long long pass back in their playbooks?  Even in college we see guys like Clauson of Notre Dame (three dropped long long passes), reports of successful sixty yard passes abound as these new new qbs often squeeze it through a maze of defending hands and arms.  I love it.  The game has changed so much that high school kids can easily toss the rock sixty yards and kick a field goal at more than fifty yards.  Here's hoping the coaches don't spoil the fun.
